2012 Brides Choice Award Winner

We are excited to announce Chic Ambiance Events is a winner of WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Award for the third year in a row!

How are the winners determined?
The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards ™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Marvimon Wedding: Natalie and Chris

Hello all! My first wedding I’m blogging for the new year is well…looong overdue, but sure is worth the wait! Natalie and Chris contacted me a couple months before their big day and I was happy to be a part of pulling all of the magic together! Natalie was planning her wedding from San Diego along with her mother in Redondo Beach. This beautiful Marvimon wedding had amazing creative details in which a lot were done by her mother!

One of the most amazing details of all was Natalie’s wedding veil! The wedding veil Natalie wore was her grandmothers wedding veil from 67 years ago! Absolutely incredible! …brings a whole new meaning to “something old” on your wedding day!

Natalie and Chris got ready and had their “First Look” at one of my favorite hotels in Downtown LA, the Biltmore. Without further ado, I hope you enjoy the amazing images courtesy of Gabriel Ryan Photographers…..

St. Vincent De Paul and Wilshire Grand Wedding: Anne + Jeff’s Same Day Edit

Hello all! My goodness I can’t believe it’s been sooo long since my last post. I have lots of weddings in the queue to share with you soon! In the meantime I wanted to share with you a same day edit from my incredibly sweet couple Anne and Jeff. I met Anne 2 years ago through one of my past brides (who’s name is Anne too!) in which Anne was the maid of honor. Anne and Jeff had a beautiful wedding a couple of weeks ago at St. Vincent De Paul Church and the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

I can’t wait to see the pictures of the chic purple and black wedding!

Congratulations Anne and Jeff! Have fun on your honeymoon in Mexico!

Brooke + Barry : Featured on Style Me Pretty : Park Plaza Wedding

I can’t help but smile when I think of Brooke and BJ! I had the honor of being beside them for 13 months planning and designing their wedding at Park Plaza this past February. Their wedding day was flawless! The cherry on top was when I saw in my inbox their wedding and Palos Studio’s amazing images were going to be featured on Style Me Pretty’s LBB Blog!

B+B’s wanted their wedding to reflect their personality, faith and to be an warm and inviting space for their family and friends would never forget. When searching for the perfect venue, B+B choose Park Plaza as THE perfect venue. Park Plaza has a old world elegance – vintage charm that is simply beauiful and grand that B+B fell in love with, though as a couple they leaned more towards the more modern feel. Over the course of 12 months we bridged the two styles together to create a day chock full of details to reflect the two of them.

We utilized 4 different event spaces at Park Plaza to create this magical day. Starting with the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner Reception and the grand finale in which was adorned in a completely different design (Purple, Black and White) then the first 3 parts of the wedding day…the “BrookeBarry Lounge”!

Brooke and Barry what can I say that I haven’t already, love you both to the moon and back! Thank you for entrusting me to be your wedding planner, it was such an honor! And thank you for the spa gift, Bobby and I LOVED our massages!

What can I say other than a pure, heartfelt and genuine THANK YOU! i was just talking to one of my bridesmaids who is getting married this summer and RAVING about you! You truly brought all the lovely pieces of our wedding puzzle together, you listened to every wish, desire and dream that we had about our wedding day and night, and you MADE IT HAPPEN! I will never forget the day before my wedding, talking to you on the phone, while I was pacing back and forth panicking, and you gave me so much peace of mind! Meghan+Adam, Cafe Pinot Wedding: Featured on Style Me Pretty

Words can’t express how much I adore these two!! Really adore!!! From the moment Meghan and I met, I adored her, her style and most importantly how she viewed the wedding day..not just from a design standpoint, but from the actual marriage ceremony itself and how important it is.

I was so excited when I found out that their beautiful day was featured on Style Me Pretty 2 weeks ago…it was so adorable when Meghan told me her AMAZING photographer Meg Perotti told her the great news — Meghan’s response…she laughed and said, “our little wedding?”

Meghan and Adam’s wedding day was beautiful and I’m so honored to have been a part of it. Even the rain didn’t stop this gorgeous wedding from shinning! Side note: Bride’s ALWAYS have a Plan B in case of bad weather! Luckily we did and they day ran smooth without a hitch!

Meghan and Adam, you know how much I adore you both!!! Meghan I miss our SUPER detailed emails, and meetings…Adam you are such a joy to be around, you can’t help but smile in your presence. I wish you two nothing but the best. I hope your Tahiti Honeymoon was as amazing as you described. And thank you both so much again for your thoughtful gift. Congrats!

Sneak Peek: Katie + Mike’s Canary Hotel Santa Barbara Wedding

WOW! Where has the time gone?! I can’t believe it’s been sooo long since my last post! CAE has been staying busy helping bride’s and groom’s wedding dreams come true!

Here’s a sneak peek of one of my weddings from last month. I LOVED working with the beautiful bride Katie and her mom Fran since March for her August wedding. Katie and Mike had an intimate ceremony with just 75 guests at the Mission Rose Garden in Santa Barbara and held their reception on the rooftop of the Canary Hotel. It was a magical day that will always be remembered! Ahhh…have I mentioned how blessed I am to be able to do what I do? I love each and every one of my brides and grooms!!!!

Nicole + Michael featured in Brides Southern California Magazine!

I was SO excited when I got the email that Nicole and Michael’s Vintage Book wedding at Calamigos Ranch Malibu was being featured in Brides Southern California Magazine Fall/Winter 2010 Issue! Nicole and Michael worked hard crafting incredible DIY details to make their wedding day beautiful, personal and chock full of special touches… I was honored I was able to help bring all of the details together on their wedding day! It’s the icing on the cake for them to receive recognition beyond their April 10th nuptials!

Stay tuned for more images from their big day soon…including other fantastical weddings I have in the blog queue, this summer is flying by and I’m loving every wedding planning minute of it!
